Spring update - March 7, 2007

Hey everyone!
I'm about to finish my last winter at Berklee! I'm very excited about graduating this summer and making myself more available to travel and perform for you. Right now I am getting ready to record some songs to release at the beginning of summer. Be sure to check back for updates.

I am raising money again for my Boston Marathon charity. I will be playing shows in April to serve as benefit concerts for the New Blance charity I run for. If you would like to donate but can't make a show, e-mail me.

Check back soon!

Hard at Work - July 11, 2006

I'm well into the middle of Berklee's summer semester working very hard to graduate in 2007 instead of 2008. I've also been practicing my band for gigs in the fall (keep an eye on our calendar). I'm so excited to be playing with these musicians, they are incredibly talented, be sure to come check us out!

Boston Marathon - April 19, 2006

Well- I did it. On Monday I ran in the Boston Marathon. I finished with a time of 3:58, and felt very good throughout the run. To get me through those 26.2 miles, I made a list of the people that inspire me and I wanted to make proud. Many of my music mentors were a part of this list (and a part of my ipod mix!). Thanks for helping me get through it! I'll post a picture soon.

I've decided to stay in Boston for the summer. Those of you who are in Colorado, I'm planning to do a show while I come in town in the middle of May. More on that when I get the details.

School has been keeping me very busy, as usual. But as usual, I love it and don't mind at all. I have been writing quite a bit lately and I'm very excited as my classes progress, to be polishing up my writing skills. Because I'm staying in Boston this summer, I'll be graduating next year! As for what comes after that...who knows what direction I will take in the next year!

Check back soon for more updates and new pictures!

Busy at Berklee - February 26, 2006

I'm so close to making it through another winter in Boston, y'all. Just a few more weeks...(hopefully).

For the time being, the Subdudes came through last week to remind me of home. I was lucky to get to catch up with John over lunch before their show and hear a little bit about their tour. Their show was fantastic and their new album "Behind the Levee" is incredible. Catch a show if you get a chance.

In a few weeks I'll be headed into the studio to get some recording finished. I've also been writing quite a bit lately. I'll try to get some stuff up on the site for you to listen to, even if it's a little rough.

Thanks for checking in. Check back soon for more updates. Happy Mardi Gras!

What an Experience! - February 4, 2006

Hello Everyone! I hope that January was good to you. I am back in Boston working hard in classes, marathon training, and writing many new songs. I will be recording in March, so I am sticking with my goal of having something for you all by the summer.

Last week I got the opportunity to tag along with Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Hazel Miller for a few days. They are currently on their winter tour, and after their show in Boston (which was awesome!) I spent a couple days with the boys and Hazel on the road. Being around such talented people is very motivating to me. I really admire Hazel, so I was very thrilled to get to know her a little bit. I am very excited for what this summer has to bring during my visit to Colorado. Keep checking the site for updates!

Also, I am still raising marathon money for the Boston City Police Department. If you're interested in donating, shoot me an e-mail. Take care!

New in 2006! - January 17, 2006

Hey Everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday season. I had a great time traveling between Boston, Denver, and Louisiana. I've been doing a lot of exciting planning for this upcoming year. Plans for the release of the new album are being made. I'm in the middle of writing a lot of new material, so be on the lookout! In addition to getting the album ready, I will be racing in this year's Boston Marathon and am in training for that. I have been made a part of a charity team to raise money for the Boston City Police Department. By the way, if you'd like to make a donation, send me an e-mail. Wish me Luck :) I hope the new year found all of you doing great. Check back soon.

August 1, 2005

I am back in Colorado, home from my visit to Louisiana. While out of town, Jim Odom and I began new song ideas, recorded vocals for the new project, and put down the final drum tracks. Rob Gould flew in from Peoria, IL to do the drum tracks. Working with Rob was a wonderful experience. He is a very professional, practiced, and humble musician. Keep checking back for updates on when the material will be available!

Summer Update - June 27, 2005

Hey Everyone! I just got the website updated and going. Right now I'm in Baton Rouge working hard writing new songs and recording. I'm very excited about this project. Be sure to check out the clips.
